The size listed is deceiving : Cuisinart 7117-16UR Chef's Classic Stainless 16-Inch Rectangular Roaster with Rack

I ordered this because it was listed at 16 inches. I have a small, apartment oven and a 16-inch pan would just fit. The handles on this pan expand outward beyond the pan itself by 2.5 inches, manufacture the total size 21 inches: too large for my oven. I returned it for an All-Clad 14-inch, (whose handles are upright and don't conduce to the uncut length anyway; ironic) and it's perfect. Otherwise the Cuisinart appeared to be an excellent pan.

I have roasted everything from vegetables to every kind of roast and poultry in this pan and it's the greatest. The handles are well placed - they don't take up space in the oven and they're very sturdy and easy to grip with oven mitts. I love that it's heavy adequate to go right to the stove burner to deglaze or make gravy. It cleans up very legitimately - if you don't deglaze to make a sauce, plainly put some hot water in the pan, turn up the burner and use a silicon spatula to "scrape" up the stuck on food. This pan performs like much more expensive models - I've used them all and this one is a great value.

Great limited pan : All-Clad Master Chef 2 8-Inch Fry Pan

I was a limited disappointed when I first opened the box because there were some limited grey marks on the rim of the pan - but they disappeared thoroughly when I used a limited Bon Ami on it. Had to wash the pan anyway before using it. I cooked some fried eggs in it and they were the best I've ever had. Then I cooked some chopped meat in it and the results were wonderful. Very easy to clean, gorgeous to look at, and a real pleasure. And I like the cope although some population don't seem to. I am now going to buy someone else All Clad Mc2 pot or pan every month since I can't afford to do it all at once, and then gently get rid of all my Calphalon non-stick! better late than never and I am very happy!
